Lazy Oaks Cabins are amazing! The hosts communicate thoroughly & want to make sure every comfort is met including extra towels for your pets. The cabins are spacious, impeccably clean & oh so lovely! 2 king beds / bedrooms on opposing sides of a spacious living room, kitchen & dining area make for complete privacy for everyone! Stargazing on the back deck was an added bonus! The hosts live on property so are responsive & readily available if you have any questions or issues. They are wonderful people! We left feeling like part of the family & cannot wait to visit again! The property is very near river activities - and offers peaceful evenings away from the crowds. Lazy Oaks Cabins is a must stay if you are visiting Utopia, Texas! Betty and Mike's hospitality is extraordinary, as they have thought of everything that your family may need during your vacation, and are only a call away if you need anything. Their cabin is beautifully decorated, cozy and spacious, with 2 bedrooms, each with king size beds, 2 bathrooms, a stocked kitchen and comfortable living room. When you're ready to relax or spend time outside, the front porch has a rocking bench along with chairs to admire the beautiful views, while the back porch has a picnic table, grill and cornhole to eat and play with your family and friends! There are many nature spots to explore nearby, however my families favorite spots are Garner State Park and Lost Maples Park. We absolutely loved our stay at the Lazy Oaks Cabins and can't wait to stay again!

This is the most peaceful and updated cabin in the woods with everything you need for your staycation. Full kitchen m, outdoor bbq and lots of extras. They really make it feel like home away from home. Definitely you full cabin experience. A retreat away from you normal busy lives. Will definitely be coming back!

If you want a relaxing vacation spot, this is the place for you! Away from the busy tourist areas, but close enough you can take a drive to enjoy those activities too. We enjoyed sitting on the cabin’s back porch watching the deer and birds, and just being “lazy” as the cabin name says. The cabin has all you need to have a cook-out or use the well equipped kitchen. The beds are very comfy and we especially like the ceiling fans. The best part of our stay was getting to know our hosts. Betty & Mike make you feel right at home. We highly recommend Lazy Oaks for a restful get away.

Our second time to visit Lazy Oaks Cabins. It was just as amazing as the first. Relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. We enjoyed sitting on the front and back porch listening to mother nature as well as visiting local towns nearby. The owners, Mike & Betty filled the cabin with all the essentials, including comfortable king size beds. Their attention to detail shows they truly want you to experience natures beauty to its fullest. Thank you Mike & Betty. Utopia, Heaven on earth.

I took my granddaughters on a hill country trip to see Garner state park and lost maples. This place was quiet, no traffic noise, no people noise. The cabin was clean, beds comfortable. All the plumbing worked well. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. Kitchen had most of what we needed. Betty quickly provided measuring cups when I told her there were none. Back porch lovely view. The hike up the mountain was nice and there was a nice view when looking back down. Betty was also sweet to offer to bring the swimsuit my grandaughter accidentally left half way to lost maples park after we left. But we didn’t think that was necessary.

The cabin was amazing! Fresh and clean! Two bedrooms with king size beds. Location was nice and quiet! Betty and her husband were the most welcoming and sweetest host! The hospitality was top notch. It was a true stress weekend getaway.. I will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful 2-bedroom, 2-bath cabin in the Hill Country. The setting is peaceful and scenic, with stunning views and enough privacy to feel tucked away from it all. Inside, the cabin is spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. The living space is bright and welcoming, the kitchen is well-equipped, and both bedrooms offer plush beds and plenty of space. The two bathrooms are modern and spotless. The deck is a definite highlight—perfect for morning coffee or evening sunset bbq with a wonderful view, and the private yard is great for a little nature walk. Location is ideal for exploring the area—easy drives to local wineries, hiking trails, and charming towns—yet it remains wonderfully secluded. Our hosts, Betty & Mike, were outstanding: responsive, and friendly. Check-in/out was seamless. All in all, a five-star experience. We left relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend for couples, families, or friends looking for a memorable Hill Country escape.
